Review: Mirai Suenaga Danny Choo Figma Action Figure

February 10, 2012
Mirai Suenaga Danny Choo Figma Action Figure
Danny Choo is a name synonymous with Japanese culture and Otakus around the world. Singlehandedly through his blog, he has raised consciousness for the Japanese sub culture and brought it kicking and screaming into the spotlight. But he hasn’t done it alone, he has had a helping hand along the way. And one of those helping hands is at Otaku Fuel right now waiting for a fellow Otaku to snap her up.

Mirai Suenaga is one of Danny Choo’s mascots and she’s been faithfully reproduced by Max Factory as a gorgeous figma doll. Mirai is highly posable with a variety of accessories and different faces to interchange with. Regular Danny Choo readers will be right at home with this figma and it is one that every serious collector must have. The detail in this figure is absolutely exquisite with fantastic attention to the colouring which is absolutely spot on and no messy blotching or careless colour mismatches which you see sometimes.

The interchangeable faces have a great amount of detail in them and will definitely make it hard to choose which one to wear. Also in the box is a miniature Mirai doll which she can carry on her arm like a little mascot. There is also a small laptop for when Mirai needs to work and concentrate on what she’s doing. The highly adjustable stand enables Mirai to be posed in a variety of action shots only limited by your imagination. In case you’re reading this thinking I’m highly biased, you’re probably right but what’s not to love about this figure. Amazing details, great colouring, excellent accessories and all to support the sub culture that we all call home. Pick her up today from Otaku Fuel, she’ll compliment any collection and make you the envy of your collector friends.

Read on below for a complete list of what comes in the box:

Mirai Suenaga Danny Choo Figma Action Figure

Forever Sweet Seventeen!

Mirai Suenaga, The lovable mascot character from dannychoo.com and Culture Japan is joining the figma collection!

* Using the smooth yet poseable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
* A flexible plastic is used for specific areas, which allows proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
* Mirai comes with both a smiling face and a crying face. She also comes with a handkerchief to wipe the tears from her crying face.
* She also comes with both a camera and her laptop, so she can take photos wherever she goes!
* Danny Choo – Mirai’s creator, is always playing with a Mirai doll, so a figma-sized Mirai doll is also included for figma Mirai to play with! (OtakuFuel comments: is it just us or does she look more like a Dollfie than a figma?)
* A poseable figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.
